Children's Ski & Snowboard School, LEAD Indoor Attendant

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work with our youngest guests ages 3-6 years old within an indoor environment. This position involves caring for and entertaining children, supporting instructors, and working with the Children’s Center Chef and Children’s Ski School 3-6YO Supervisor.

About the role

This role requires prior experience working with children, experience leading a small team, authorization to work in the USA, and the ability to work full-time during busy holiday weeks/weekends. The position also demands strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to identify areas needing improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and safe environment for our youngest guests.
• Lead a group of 5 indoor attendants; assigning tasks, organizing breaks, and assisting in scheduling with the help of the Children’s Ski School 3-6YO Supervisor.
• Escorts children to designated activities if not with an instructor.
• Assists in meal and snack preparation in the Children's Center, including heating, cutting, and serving food.
• Assists with Ski School Rentals, Kitchen, and/or Snow Camp as needed.
• Drives a golf cart to and from the beginner area.
• Addresses all staff and guest issues with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children.
• Experience leading or supervising a small team (2-5 people).
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Able to work full-time during busy holiday weeks/weekends.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive and energetic personality.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team player.
• Able to identify areas needing improvement and take initiative to solve problems.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to do basic math.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Pay

$23 – 24/hr; dependent on experience.
