About the Role

The Children's Fitness Instructor role involves teaching engaging classes and leading birthday parties based on our proven curriculum. You'll be part of a team that works primarily on weekends, coordinating all aspects of birthday parties to ensure families have a magical experience. This position focuses on providing outstanding customer service and fostering a positive membership experience while making a meaningful impact on children's growth and development in the community.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes and lead birthday parties using our established curriculum and teaching method.
• Coordinate all aspects of birthday parties hosted at our facility to ensure a magical experience for families.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming membership experience.
• Lead activities that positively impact the growth and development of children and families in the community.

Requirements

• Willingness to engage energetically with children, including playful and enthusiastic interactions (e.g., high-fives).
• Background in child development, physical education, gymnastics, dance, or early childhood education is a plus.
• Strong desire to serve others and create positive experiences for children and parents.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and balance fun with professionalism.

About the Company

The Little Gym is a premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Our programs use movement-based learning and imaginative play to build confidence and skills at each stage of childhood. With over 40 years of experience, our trained instructors offer classes in gymnastics, dance, and other activities like camps, skill clinics, and birthday parties. This role is with Somersault Operating, a franchisee that owns 30 The Little Gym locations across 8 states, with plans for expansion. All hiring decisions are made independently by the franchise.
