Full-time, regular position located in-office. Primary working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

About the role

This position will serve under the direction of the Division Director of Statewide Crisis Services and the Director of Children's Services to support and strengthen children's crisis services across the state. The role requires participation in an on-call rotation to provide consultation and assist with resolving emergent issues related to children's crisis services and placement.

Responsibilities

  • Create and conduct children's crisis mobile response trainings for all mobile crisis providers and ensure compliance with training.
  • Maintain reports from children's crisis providers regarding volume and denials.
  • Work with 988, CCHBCs, OJA, and other children's detention centers on ability to respond to crisis calls.
  • Obtain and maintain relationships with local and state agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Attend children's work groups to work with public and private partners in establishing relationships and improving access to care for children and their families.
  • Work with transportation vendors to ensure appropriate transportation services.
  • Research nationwide trends, trainings, resources, and models for children's crisis and family treatment models to assist in promoting change in Oklahoma.
  • Work with the Children's Services Department, DHS, and Department of Education to assist schools and CCBHCs in establishing protocols for response to behavioral health in line with HB 4106.
  • Collaborate to establish criteria and advance policy and standards for children's crisis services, including Mobile Crisis, Urgent Recovery Centers (URCs), and Crisis Stabilization Units (CSUs).
  • Coordinate and facilitate monthly children's crisis meetings and participate in other statewide crisis meetings as required to promote collaboration, consistency, and continuous system improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of professional experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional experience for each year of the required education.
  • Current license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LADC-MH (preferred).

Pay

$39.11 per hour / $81,350 per year. FLSA status: exempt.
