Children's Client Services Manager ($5,000 sign-on bonus)

Copper Country Community Mental Health is hiring in Houghton, Michigan.

About the role

This full-time position works closely with children, families, supervisors, clinical staff, and community partners in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services that help children and their support systems navigate challenges and access the care they need.
• Complete assessments by meeting with children and families to understand their needs, strengths, and goals.
• Create and guide individualized treatment plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and ensure everyone involved has the support they need.
• Monitor progress by staying connected with families to assess how things are going, make adjustments when needed, and celebrate progress.
• Respond to urgent needs by conducting emergency screenings and helping families through difficult situations with compassion, calm, and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a Human Services field; experience working with children is required.
• Master’s degree is a bonus.
• Eligibility for Michigan licensure and at least one year of experience in the mental health field is preferred.
• Dynamic, people-oriented, and comfortable working with many different personalities and situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills—warmth, patience, and professionalism.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Pay

$48,695 - $51,191 annual starting salary based on qualifications, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Friday, generally working 8am – 5pm.
