Children's Center Ski Instructor | Full Time Seasonal

About the role

Teaches skiing techniques according to resort and PSIA guidelines in group or individual settings, tailored to customer skill levels. Must be willing to work with children, energetic, outgoing, and able to interact with guests in a friendly and fun manner. A crucial part of the role is to get and keep guests as part of a customer-focused organization.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct both group and private ski lessons for guests in accordance with resort and PSIA guidelines.
• Demonstrate and communicate proper ski techniques.
• Promote and act as a role model for the responsibility code, safety, and risk awareness as prescribed by resort safety policies.
• Familiarize with and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the resort Handbook and Ski School Manual.
• Assist the skiing public whenever possible.
• Help organize and divide classes as needed.
• Contribute to team efforts by participating in job sharing, maintaining resort cleanliness, ensuring guest and employee safety, attending safety meetings, accepting diverse assignments, and maintaining a positive and friendly attitude in all interactions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to ski at an intermediate level or above.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
