Children's Art and Science Instructor - No experience required

About the role

We are looking for Part-Time Children's Art & Science Teachers who believe SLIME, CLAY, PAINT, SCIENCE & GLITTER should be a part of every young child's life. No teaching experience is required—we train you. Positions are available to start training immediately and begin teaching in January.

• Teach in the Woodbury studio as well as at various locations throughout the Twin Cities East Metro area.
• During the school year, availability is needed three or more days a week in the afternoon hours, with the greatest needs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Weekend and other weekday availability is also welcome.
• We especially need teachers in the Northeast and Southeast Metro areas (Forest Lake, Lino Lakes, White Bear Lake, Mahtomedi, Stillwater, Eagan, Apple Valley, and Farmington).
• More hours are available during no-school days and summer months.
• Mornings, early evenings, and weekend hours are available for those interested in additional time.
• A reliable car is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with students during art and science classes and camps.
• Engage children in creative, messy, and fun activities involving art and science.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, creative, and love working with kids.
• Ability to embrace and encourage messy, hands-on learning.

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
