children & family program coordinator

About the role

The Family Place is hiring a part-time Children & Family Program Coordinator to plan and lead welcoming, age-appropriate programming for children and their parents or caregivers. Some programs focus primarily on children, while others actively involve parents and caregivers through shared play, conversation, and connection. The Coordinator will support Playgroups, Open Play, and other family-centered activities at the Brevard and Rosman locations and at approved community sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate programming for children and families.
• Facilitate Playgroups, Open Play, and other family-centered activities.
• Engage parents and caregivers through shared play, conversation, and connection.
• Coordinate programming at the Brevard and Rosman locations and approved community sites.

Pay

Part-time, hourly: approximately 30 hours per week at $15.00–$18.50 per hour.
