About the role
Discovery Junction in Campbelltown, PA seeks an energetic and nurturing Lead Preschool Teacher to join their team in the Preschool Classroom.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the learning and development of preschool-aged children
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children to explore and learn
- Implement curriculum that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to plan and implement activities that enhance children's experiences
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- At least 2500 hours of documented experience with children
- The ability to pass all background checks
Qualifications
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
- Pass all background checks
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with children and adults
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
