Main Job Responsibilities
- Prepare nutritious well-balanced meals that meet food program requirements for items served.
- Oversee the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and sanitary kitchen.
- Manage monthly inventory on non-food items, such as cups, plates, etc., as well as all food items needed for the food service order; disperse groceries, food service, and paper supply order to appropriate areas of the building.
- Request items within budget for additional equipment needed to help maintain the kitchen and mealtimes on track and turn in request to the Center Director.
- Absorb and assist in the classrooms as needed by relieving teachers for breaks and being an additional support resource.
- Fulfill all physical requirements of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
Requirements
- High school diploma OR GED
- Serve Safe certificate
- Ability to pass all background checks
- Previous childcare experience is a plus

$17 - $20/hour, based on experience
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 6:30am-4pm
