Childcare Coach

About the role

This is a 15-20 hour/week role focused on team leadership, family relations, empowerment, and management of childcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain weekly Childcare Associates, including:
  • Sending weekly communication
  • Setting up and tearing down rooms
  • Thorough sanitization of rooms
  • Interaction with families
• Fill in for any positions that are in need during weekly childcare shifts.
• Maintain constant communication with the Campus Kids Pastor to ensure childcare processes run smoothly.
• Supervise and oversee the safety and security of childcare staff and children.
• Ensure all environments are clean and healthy for kids, and that childcare employees follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Uphold proper cleaning procedures.
• Follow up on all reported concerns regarding child or parent behaviors and communicate instances to the Campus Kids Pastor.
• Greet parents, establish trust, and build relationships with employees and children in your care.
• Track room capacities and registrations.

Requirements

• Must be a follower of Christ, as this is a faith-based position.
• Familiarity with River Valley KiDS policies and procedures.
• Experience in managing teams and developing others.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with both kids and parents.
• Must be available to work flexible schedules while maintaining good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Alignment with River Valley Church’s cultural values.
• Ability to appropriately handle stressful situations.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to individuals who have previously served in River Valley KiDS.
