Job Responsibilities
- Performs daily operations - checking children in and out, collecting money, opening/closing procedures, following emergency procedures, maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Exhibits professional image and behavior toward members, visitors, clients, and all TriHealth employees and creates a positive impression consistent with professional etiquette.
- Exhibits dependability in all areas such as attendance, tardiness, and timely performance of duties.
- Demonstrates flexibility and initiative in seeking and/or accepting additional assignments.
- Communicates effectively and demonstrates appropriate written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Assists with the development and implementation of KLC programs and staff a variety of KLC daily and special event programs - craft time, sing-a-long, birthday parties, PNO, Spring Safari, Freaky Friday, etc.
- Actively supervises and interacts with the children in all areas of the KLC - junior gym, activity room, and nursery - including reading stories, leading activities, and playing games.
Job Requirements
- 2 years High School Education (Required)
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- 1 - 2 years paid work experience in a related field - childcare, teaching, etc. (Required)
- In lieu of childcare paid work experience will consider qualified students through the TriHealth Student Assistant Program.
- Strong oral communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
