Childcare Assistant Teacher/Early Childhood Education

About the Role

We are currently seeking an assistant teacher for our faith-based program for young children. If you enjoy working with children and thrive in an environment that requires quickly adapting to changing conditions and assessing the needs of young children, this role is for you. Teaching in a childcare setting is ideal for those passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact on children's lives.

Responsibilities

• Support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
• Provide basic care for children aged 2.5 to 5 years old.
• Encourage positive behavior and good manners.
• Maintain a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members.

Requirements

• A desire to work with children and help them learn and grow.
• Successfully pass a full criminal background check, including fingerprints.
• Become First Aid and CPR certified.
• Maintain a professional attitude, behavior, and dress.
• Physically able to keep up with active children both indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• MAT certification (preferred)
• CDA certification (preferred)
• Previous experience in the childcare field (preferred)
