About the role
We are a forward-thinking, Reggio-inspired early learning center seeking inspired and enthusiastic individuals to join our talented, dynamic staff as infant/toddler specialists.
Responsibilities
- Nurturing curious and joyful children
- Providing kind and gentle attention
- Fostering engaging and creative classrooms
- Building trusting relationships that encourage each child's growth, development, and healthy attachments
- Supporting children's families as they balance the demands of careers and family
- Mentoring, learning from, and partnering with like-minded professionals
- Developing a strong home-school connection with families
- Enthusiasm for being outdoors in all types of weather
Requirements
- A passion for infants and toddlers
- A commitment to working in the field of early childhood education
- A working knowledge of the RIE approach to infant/toddler care
- An associate/bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood education/development or related field (varies depending on position)
Qualifications
- Intentional teaching practices grounded in the Reggio Emilia approach
- A gentle, warm, creative demeanour
- An enthusiasm for nature-based learning, including farm-to-table gardening
