For 50 years, The Sunshine House has provided high‑quality early education and childcare for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, operating more than 100 schools across 7 states. The organization is dedicated to nurturing young minds and helping children thrive.

Compensation

Pay range: $17‑$20 per hour, based on education, experience, and credentials. Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.

Responsibilities

• Help manage daily operations of the childcare school, ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements and company policies.
• Perform administrative duties, give tours to families, maintain records, and keep everything running smoothly.
• Partner with families to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support teachers in implementing curriculum, enabling developmentally appropriate classrooms that spark curiosity and growth.
• Nurture positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing representatives, and the community.
• Work in the classroom when needed to assist and support staff.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field (required).
• Completion of Admin 1 & 2 coursework and experience managing a licensed childcare center (preferred).
• Previous experience working in a licensed childcare center setting as an administrator (required).
• Proficient computer skills in business‑related programs, including Microsoft Office.
• A passion for providing high‑quality care and education.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Schedule
