Childcare Assistant Director

About the role

As an Assistant Director you will work closely with the Center Director to ensure the day-to-day operations of the center. You'll play a vital role in shaping the early educational journey of our children, helping them discover the joy of learning while providing them with the care and support they need to thrive.

Location: Inspire Central O’Fallon, 123 Hutchings Farm Drive, O'Fallon, MO 63366.

Responsibilities

• Help educators foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment through the implementation of an Emergent Curriculum.
• Work closely with the Center Director to ensure the day-to-day operations of the center.
• Ensure teachers are supporting children's emotional, physical, and cognitive development while maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Engage with parents and families, providing support and communication about their child's progress.
• Collaborate with professionals and support children with their specialized needs as necessary.
• Maintain documentation and records, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent (Required).
• State of MO Director Qualified Certification (Required).
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience (Required).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude and passion for working with children.
• Ability to pass background and health requirements.

Availability to open and/or close; flexibility to work between the hours of 6:00am - 6:00pm.
