Childcare Assistant - Afternoons (Northshore)

Location: Volunteer Community School, 506 Spears Avenue, Chattanooga
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 5:30pm

About the role

Join our team and help care for children from infants to Pre-K during the afternoons in a meaningful, part-time role.

Pay

Starts at $11-$13 per hour; higher with experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and play with children
• Help keep classrooms safe, clean, and organized
• Support teachers and step in where needed
• Help children finish their day in a calm, positive way

Requirements

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Able to pass a fingerprint background check
• Reliable, friendly, patient, and good with kids
• Experience working with children in a group setting preferred
