About the role
The Department of Revenue, Division of Child Support Services is recruiting for multiple Child Support Enforcement Specialist positions in Anchorage.
This position is open to Alaska Residents only. Please check our residency definition to determine if you qualify.
Responsibilities
- Determines, performs, or directs the performance of required actions in case preparation and investigation to collect court-ordered or administratively determined child support payments from responsible parents
- Determines paternity
- Establishes child support orders
- Maintains quality customer service
Requirements
Equivalent to those typically gained by obtaining a high school diploma (or GED) and qualified experience applying statutes, program requirements, or similar criteria, used to review, process, and/or evaluate applications for programs or services, and relaying the information to external and internal clients.
Qualifications
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Interpersonal Skills, Reading Comprehension, Reasoning, Oral and Written Communication, and Resilience.
