Child Life Specialist
Job Summary
Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Child Life Specialist to join their team. This role involves planning and providing therapeutic intervention and appropriate psychosocial/developmental care for pediatric/adolescent patients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Child Life or a related field such as Child Development, Child Psychology, Education, or Counseling
- Must possess Child Life Specialist certification within one year of hire
- BLS required within 30 days of hire
- 1 year of related experience or a Child Life Internship preferred
- Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required
