About the role
The Child Development Center at Missouri S&T seeks to hire a Child Development Aide to assist in planning, organizing, and conducting a childcare program. The ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule, be motivating to both children and coworkers, possess high energy, and have experience communicating effectively with parents and coworkers.
Responsibilities
- Assists in planning, organizing, and conducting a childcare program.
- Completes work effectively, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
- Understands how assigned and/or routine tasks integrate with others in the team.
- Impacts the quality of own work and begins to impact the work of others.
- Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and perform tasks/activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and some experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Pay
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.50 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
Schedule
Positions may become available at various times throughout the year based on enrollment and scheduling needs.
Benefits
This position is not eligible for University benefits. Individuals in non benefit eligible positions may choose to participate in the Tax Deferred Annuity Plan (403b).
