Child Conduct - Safety Worker

About the role

Ensure student safety during lunch in the cafeteria.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the cafeteria
• Monitor noise and behavior
• Assist students with opening containers
• Clean tables and floors
• Address spills to prevent falls
• Attend in-service meetings
• Promote positive public relations

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in educational, volunteer, or employment settings
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons

Physical demands

• Lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
• Extended standing or walking
• Potential use of uniforms or personal protective equipment (PPE)

Skills

• Supervision and behavior management
• Safety awareness

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM during school hours.
