Child Care Teacher - Winter 2026 - 27

About the role

Child Care Teachers provide positive, quality care for non-skiing children ages two months to 12 years of age in a safe, organized environment at Deer Valley Resort, nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah in the historic mining town of Park City. Our diverse workforce includes locals, transplants, seasonal workers from all 50 states, and international students, where everyone feels welcome and valued.

Responsibilities

• Feed, change, and supervise children ages two months to 12 years
• Dress/undress young children, ensuring all personal items are accounted for
• Change diapers when appropriate
• Lift and carry babies and toddlers
• Attend to children's personal needs
• Record events of the day for each child and discuss them with the child's parents
• Assist supervisors and leads with various tasks, such as set up and cleaning
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Previous work experience with children in private or childcare settings required
• Able to lift at least 30 lbs., stand for long periods of time, and withstand frequent up-and-down/twisting/repetitive movements
• Complete fingerprints and background check in accordance with state childcare licensing
