Responsibilities

  • Create hands-on activities tailored to children's needs and interests.
  • Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
  • Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following established procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • College coursework in early childhood education, a CDA, or related degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) is required.
  • Candidates must pass background checks.

  • Communicate effectively with families.
  • Adhere to safety and health standards.
  • Flexibility to work at a center that serves toddlers and preschoolers, with hours between 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
