About the role
Create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children in a preschool setting. Maintain open communication with parents about children’s milestones and ensure a safe, clean environment by following established procedures and guidelines. Foster a nurturing, educational atmosphere that supports children’s growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Design hands-on learning experiences aligned with early childhood best practices
- Maintain ongoing, transparent communication with families regarding children’s progress and developmental milestones
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and licensing protocols to keep the learning environment clean and secure
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
- Preferred: coursework or degree in early childhood education or a related field
- Experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is a plus
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- Must pass required background checks
