Child Care Substitute Teacher

About the role

Rise and Shine Academy, a program of Criterion Child Enrichment, seeks enthusiastic, caring, and responsible substitute teachers for infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is looking for occasional work.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with classroom activities, routines, and administrative tasks.
• Utilize a positive strength-based approach in interactions with children.
• Absorb and maintain classroom organization to promote child engagement and learning.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet Department of Early Education and Care Minimum Hiring Requirements for a Teacher.
