Child Care Substitute Teacher
Responsibilities
Aid in hands-on activities tailored to meet the developmental needs and interests of the children.
Maintain open and regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their child's progress and milestones.
Ensure a safe and clean learning environment by adhering to established safety protocols and maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom.
Qualifications
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks.
- Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
- One year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
- A CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field is preferred.
Physical Requirements
This position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training.
Pay
The starting hourly rate for this position is between $17.45 - $21.70 per hour.

Additional Information
New employees in this role receive 1 hour of sick time per 30 hours worked if hired in Washington state, and sick leave as specified by local law if hired in other locations.
