About the role

This position involves assisting teachers in providing care and education for children in a child care center setting. The primary responsibilities include following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a fun and organized classroom, engaging with children through observation and communication, and completing extensive training on childcare and child development.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Requirements

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Pay

$18.34-$19.06 per hour for Assistant Teachers.
