Child Care Business Manager

About the role

Business Managers at Bright Horizons are essential members of the center leadership team. In this role you will oversee enrollment, billing, staffing coordination, vendor relationships, compliance, and daily operations while helping families feel welcomed, supported, and connected. This position is in‑person at a Bright Horizons early education/preschool center in the Bentonville, AR area.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily business operations and financial administration.
• Partner with families to support enrollment and engagement.
• Coordinate staffing and workforce planning needs.
• Ensure a safe, compliant, and welcoming center environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in business, secretarial, or related field is preferred.
• Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; prior office experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills are preferred.
• Successful completion of required state and company background checks and meeting state/company minimum education and experience requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Comply with all applicable immunization, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training requirements.
• May lift, carry, or hold children weighing 10–40 pounds; occasionally lift more than 40 pounds.
• Demonstrate full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and otherwise fully participate in activities.
• Respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies.
• Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $40,095 – $49,000. Actual offers within this range will depend on experience, education, certifications, geography, and other relevant factors.
