Child Care Associate Center Director

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Affirm that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Aid the Center Director in adhering to childcare licensing requirements as well as internal company policies.
• Understand, manage, and track expenses, revenue, and goals for annual budgeting.
• Substitute as Center Director in the event of their absence.
• Serve as a resource and leader to all personnel, striving to create and maintain a professional and motivating work environment.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with children, parents, and staff.

Requirements

• Achieved an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• At least 2 years of childcare or teaching experience.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Able to operate independently using the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and stay organized.
• Able to work within regular operating hours.
• Makes sure to meet state criteria for child care employment.
