Child Care Assistant I PT

About the role

We are hiring three new Child Care Assistants. Two positions will work with infants from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. One position will work in the afternoon from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support for infants and young children
• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities and routines
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
• Follow all childcare center policies and state licensing regulations
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding child progress and needs

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college or university
• Ability to lift and carry children as needed
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Clear background check and TB screening

Pay

• Not Highly Qualified: Lane 1 Step 1 ($17.88/Hour)
• Highly Qualified: Lane 2 Step 1 ($18.88/Hour)
