Child Behavior Specialist - Part Time Only

Responsibilities

• Support and implement individualized behavior plans focused on decreasing unsafe behaviors and increasing communication, social, language, and daily living skills.
• Observe client skills and collect data for assessment and program goal development.
• Provide services to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other developmental disabilities in a center‑based program.
• Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for guidance and supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing, or ability to complete a 40‑hour class, competency assessment, and exam within 6 months of hire (training compensation provided).
• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science preferred.
• Experience with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or ABA is a plus.
• Afternoon availability until 6 P.M. PT.

Pay

• Direct care entry‑level: $20 / hour, increasing up to $26 / hour based on experience, certification, and ABA‑specific education.
• Indirect care: $15 – $18 / hour, based on experience and certification.

Part‑time position with required afternoon availability until 6 P.M. PT.
