Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. The role involves working one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Reduce interfering behaviors using appropriate interventions.
- Work closely with children with autism, providing support and guidance.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children with autism.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Passionate about helping children with autism.
- Patient and compassionate demeanor.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Age 18 or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and a tuberculosis test (if applicable).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Comfortable moving in various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
