Child Autism Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. The role involves working one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors using appropriate interventions.
• Work closely with children with autism, providing support and guidance.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children with autism.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate demeanor.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Age 18 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and a tuberculosis test (if applicable).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Comfortable moving in various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Pay

$19 - $24 per hour.
