Child and Adolescent Therapist - LGPC, LMSW, SiSW, LPC-R, LSW, MFT

About the role

Blackbird Health is clinician‑founded, owned, and operated, delivering virtual and in‑person mental health services for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families across PA, VA, NJ, MD (and expanding in 2027). As an Associate/Provisionally Licensed Therapist, you will provide evidence‑based therapy under full clinical supervision while contributing to a collaborative team focused on pediatric mental health.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and caregivers.
• Receive dedicated clinical supervision hours toward independent licensure.
• Work on‑site alongside an interdisciplinary team.
• Benefit from handled credentialing, billing, insurance, and EMR so you can focus on patient care.
• Maintain a guaranteed caseload with no waiting or hustle.
• Contribute to a whole‑child approach that examines brain, body, and behavior interactions.

Requirements

• Active provisionally licensed/associate credential in VA, MD, or NJ (e.g., Resident in Counseling, LGPC, LMSW, SiSW, LPC‑R, LSW, MFT‑Associate) working toward independent licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
• At least 1 year of experience providing care to children, adolescents, or young adult patients.
• Commitment to 100 % onsite attendance for clinical supervision, team collaboration, and core clinic presence.
• Availability after 3:00 PM ET on weekdays and/or weekends.
