Child and Adolescent Therapist

About the role

Join a dedicated mental health team as a Child & Adolescent Therapist, providing culturally sensitive assessments, individual and family therapy, and developing crisis and safety plans to support clients' mental health and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and creating a welcoming environment for diverse clients.
• Providing tailored outpatient therapy based on client needs.
• Developing crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participating in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning.
• Completing documentation, billing, treatment plans, and insurance forms accurately.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Provisional license if required by state regulation.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
• Strong communication, rapport-building, and time management skills.
