About the role

Join a health system near Raleigh, North Carolina, to develop a growing service line in a community with limited provider availability. This role offers the potential for a diverse clinical practice, including inpatient and outpatient care, with the opportunity to see children, adolescents, and adults. The position includes managing patient care within a new 16-bed freestanding unit.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions in children, adolescents, and adults
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and supervise residents and students
  • Provide psychiatric services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participate in community outreach and program development
  • Work with students and residents in a teaching capacity

Requirements

  • Medical degree with board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • Experience with inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
