Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

• Oversight of quality assurance for psychiatric care across multiple settings
• Increase access to high-quality mental health care for children and adolescents
• Build capacity among mental health providers and establish referral networks
• Conduct surveillance related to mental health conditions in child populations
• Complete site visits and needs assessments for mental health services
• Train stakeholders on best practices and child safety
• Review response protocols for abuse and harassment incidents

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active psychiatry license
• 10 years of experience in psychiatry
• Specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry
• Expertise in trauma and high-risk youth populations
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance

Pay

$158,819 – $269,993 annually

Schedule

Full-time position with potential for extension

On-call and after-hours availability required

25% travel to provider sites
