Child & Adolescent Remote Acute Psychiatrist - West Coast

About the role

Array Behavioral Care is hiring 100% virtual Acute Care Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to provide measurement-based, culturally humble episodic care to patients in acute crisis across various settings and states. You will immerse yourself in the buzz of emergency departments, hospital medical floors, or crisis stabilization units from the comfort of your own home. Array Emergency Psychiatrists collaborate with onsite professionals to determine a timely disposition and use evidence-based practices to provide care to vulnerable individuals experiencing mental health crises. Patient population includes children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Array will support getting additional state licensure for active, board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrists. Responsibilities

• Simultaneously serve multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs to evaluate and treat patients in crisis and find the most appropriate and least restrictive level of care
• Receive support throughout your shift by our 24/7 access center who triages cases and ensures you have what you need to successfully treat each patient
• Direct and/or implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
• Utilize a collaborative care approach within your partner’s healthcare treatment team

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
• Unrestricted, independent licensure
• Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
• Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups
• Experience treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings
• Ability to communicate with patients from various backgrounds and provide culturally competent care
• Experience working with multiple EMRs simultaneously
• Advanced technical proficiency, including using hardware (laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software over several years of experience in telehealth

Position logistics

• 100% remote position
• Required to have a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentiality
• Likely required to work with Array to obtain additional state licensure and DEA licenses (support and cost coverage/reimbursement provided)

Pay

The pay range for this role is $150 - $195 an hour. The final offer will be determined based on an individual's skills, years of experience, education, capacity, licenses, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
