Outpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (1099, Remote)

Job Description

We are seeking a 1099 Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to support our growing telehealth team in a supervisory-only capacity. This role focuses exclusively on NP collaboration and supervision—no direct patient care is required.

You’ll partner with our Nurse Practitioners to provide clinical guidance, case consultation, chart reviews/audits, and input on internal practice standards. You’ll collaborate closely with our Clinical Supervisors to ensure high-quality, consistent care across our virtual behavioral health programs.

• Prior experience in a collaborative role with Nurse Practitioners
• Experience in Addiction, SMI, SUD, Dual Diagnosis
• Experience working with children and adolescent psychiatry patients
• Active DEA
• Awareness of and compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2

Qualifications

• MD or DO; must be willing to obtain additional state licenses
• Florida, Illinois, and/or New York state licenses highly preferred
• Board certified in Psychiatry required; child/adolescent psychiatry board certified a plus
• Experience with and knowledge of managed care, Medicaid and private payers
• Prior Supervising/Collaborative Physician Experience with Nurse Practitioners a plus
• Experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Treatment
• Prior telehealth experience
• Eligibility to work in the United States
