Location: Lakewood, NJ | 40 hours per week | Hybrid option available with 2-3 days per week on-site
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist / Physician to provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management for patients ages 5-21.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship preferred
- Current, unrestricted New Jersey medical license
- Current DEA registration
- Direct clinical experience treating children and adolescents is required
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and psychopharmacology
- Experience with medication management, behavioral/emotional disorders, risk assessment, family engagement, and trauma-informed care
- Experience with co-occurring substance use disorders preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
