Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist - Locum Tenens

About the Role

This position involves providing psychiatric care in a residential treatment setting for children and adolescents with high-acuity conditions. The clinician will conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medications within a structured therapeutic environment that includes on-site educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver part-time psychiatric services during day shifts
• Perform evaluations and medication management
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to support therapeutic and developmental goals
• Manage a variable caseload of high-acuity pediatric patients
• Provide call coverage as required

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Experience with high-acuity pediatric psychiatric conditions
• Ability to work in a structured residential environment
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
