Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
- Completion, or currently completing, a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship from an accredited program
- Active Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain licensure in Massachusetts
- Valid DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Interest in clinical research or academic collaboration preferred
Job Duties
- Diagnosing, managing and treating our patients
- Treating conditions appropriate for outpatient psychiatry
- Having full time assistance to handle administrative and clinical tasks (prior authorizations, scheduling, obtaining outside records, etc.)
- Enjoying practicing independently
- Being computer/EMR/e-prescribing proficient
- Being compassionate, caring, and non-judgemental toward patients with psychiatric needs
- Providing initial assessments
- Providing ongoing medication management
- Understanding and experiencing a broad range of mental illnesses
