Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (Clinical Track)
About the role
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a psychiatrist to join our expanding team in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division. This role offers opportunities to provide psychiatric care to pediatric and adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as teaching medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care for a variety of pediatric and/or adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Teach medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.
- Supervise and build a mentor/mentee relationship with a variety of learners, including residents and fellows.
Requirements
This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of Child/Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship by the start date of position.
- WI Medical license by start date of position.
- Board Certification in Adult or Child Psychiatry or Board Eligible with a firm plan to complete certification requirements.
