About the role

This position is predominantly outpatient, four or five days per week. There is also the need for inpatient psychiatric consults of patients in our medical/surgical units as well as the emergency department. Opportunities exist to teach University of Washington Medical School (WWAMI) third and fourth year medical students.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient psychiatric care to children and adolescents
  • Conduct inpatient psychiatric consults for medical/surgical units and the emergency department
  • Teach University of Washington Medical School (WWAMI) third and fourth year medical students
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

  • Graduate of ACGME accredited psychiatry residency
  • Post-residency experience preferred, not required
  • Experience working in an integrated behavioral health setting
  • Knowledge of the collaborative care model

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD/DO)
  • Board certification in Psychiatry
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Montana

Pay

This is an employed salaried position with additional incentive and quality compensation. Opportunity for a sign-on bonus is also offered.
