RACS is currently seeking a motivated, qualified individual to work in our coverage area of Rockbridge and Bath County, and the Cities of Lexington and Buena Vista. Training, supervision, and education opportunities specific to the position will be provided.

About the role

The Child/Adolescent Mental Health Case Manager is responsible for providing case management services to seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and their families residing in the Rockbridge Area Community Services Board catchment area. Services include needs assessment, linking to services, monitoring services, client and family education, advocacy, and outreach. This position reports to the Child and Adolescent Community Based Services Manager for all case work and clinical duties.

In carrying out assigned responsibilities, the case manager receives limited supervision and is required to exercise sound judgment, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality in accordance with RACS policies and procedures and HIPAA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services related field from an accredited school
  • Zero to one year of clinical experience working with children in a mental health setting
  • Valid Virginia driver's license and maintaining a safe driving record according to RACS policy

QMHP license preferred.
