About the role
Riverside Community Care is a community-based organization that provides behavioral healthcare and human services. This role involves observing and documenting visits between children and their non-custodial parents, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and friendly visitation environment for all participants and support positive interactions between children and parents during visits.
- Facilitate and document parent-child interactions.
- Intervene or redirect interactions if needed.
- Ensure the child’s physical and emotional well-being during each visit.
Requirements
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Common sense and maturity.
- Able to effectively set limits with others.
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must have some experience with children and families.
- Experience with victims of domestic violence is a plus.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
