About the role

Riverside Community Care is a community-based organization that provides behavioral healthcare and human services. This role involves observing and documenting visits between children and their non-custodial parents, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and friendly visitation environment for all participants and support positive interactions between children and parents during visits.
  • Facilitate and document parent-child interactions.
  • Intervene or redirect interactions if needed.
  • Ensure the child’s physical and emotional well-being during each visit.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Common sense and maturity.
  • Able to effectively set limits with others.
  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Must have some experience with children and families.
  • Experience with victims of domestic violence is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
