About the role
The successful candidate will lead the medical team in providing comprehensive care to children affected by abuse and neglect. Responsibilities include developing and implementing clinical protocols, mentoring junior staff, and conducting research to improve outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement clinical protocols for child abuse cases
- Mentor and train junior medical staff
- Conduct research to improve treatment methods and outcomes
- Collaborate with social services and law enforcement agencies
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Pediatrics or Child Abuse Pediatrics
- At least 5 years of experience in pediatric medicine
- Experience working with child protective services and law enforcement
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children
Skills
- Knowledge of child development and psychology
