Responsibilities
- Project Management & Governance
- Establish, staff, and lead the Bank's new Project Management Office (PMO)
- Design and implement a governance model for project prioritization
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle for all technology initiatives
- Evaluate and develop a roadmap for the long-term scope of the PMO
- Digital Experience & Platform Strategy
- Provide executive oversight of the Digital Experience function and its three domains
- Ensure the team is appropriately resourced and delivering against both operational commitments and strategic transformation objectives
- Drive value realization from the Bank's most significant platform investments
- Oversee the maturation of the Bank's data and integrations capabilities
- Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic FinTech partnerships
- Ensure online banking platforms remain competitive, stable, and compliant
- AI Readiness & Business Value
- Develop and maintain the Bank's AI readiness framework
- Evaluate AI capabilities emerging from strategic vendor relationships
- Identify and prioritize specific use cases for AI
- Establish and maintain regulatory and risk governance framework
- Monitor the AI and emerging technology landscape
- Technology Delivery — Network Operations, Reporting & Systems Support
- Maintain and strengthen the Bank's technology infrastructure
- Ensure technology operations align with risk management expectations
- Identify and pursue opportunities for operational improvement
- Establish and maintain operational technology KPIs and management reporting
- Strategic Leadership
- Build and sustain a culture within the technology function
- Partner with the COO and executive peers to develop and maintain the Bank's technology roadmap
- Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Recruit, develop, and retain leadership across four functional teams
- Develop a workforce strategy for the technology function
- Execute departmental strategic plans and goals
- Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Engage with vendors, technology partners, and FinTech organizations
- Collaborate with Operational Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance functions
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technology management, operations, or digital transformation
- Proven track record of successful project management and governance
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of AI and responsible AI adoption
- Experience in network operations and systems support
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
