About the role

Omni Design Technologies is a leading provider of high-performance, ultra-low power IP cores and chips in advanced FinFET nodes, enabling differentiated system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. Our cutting-edge technology powers innovation across key markets such as 5G, wireline and optical communications, LiDAR, radar, automotive networking, AI, and image sensors. With a strong track record of success and over 50% year-over-year growth, Omni Design is at a pivotal moment—poised for rapid expansion and ready to further solidify its position as a technology leader. As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for defining and executing Omni Design's global revenue strategy. You will lead and integrate business development, worldwide sales, and marketing functions to drive significant revenue growth, expand our customer base, and establish strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, articulate, and execute a comprehensive, data-driven global revenue strategy to achieve aggressive top-line growth and significant market expansion (identifying and prioritizing target markets, developing strategic account plans, optimizing pricing strategies).
  • Lead, manage, and scale global sales, business development, and marketing organizations to achieve and exceed ambitious revenue targets (building high-performance culture, implementing sales processes and CRM tools, establishing performance metrics, coaching and development).
  • Identify, cultivate, and negotiate strategic partnerships and alliances with key semiconductor companies, OEMs, foundries, and ecosystem partners (negotiating complex IP licensing agreements, establishing joint development programs, managing partner relationships).
  • Drive market penetration and adoption of Omni Design's IP licensing, SoC solutions, and value-added services across key target markets and customer segments (developing go-to-market strategies, identifying new business opportunities, leveraging technology for competitive differentiation).
  • Optimize and refine the company's go-to-market (GTM) strategy, pricing models, and customer acquisition approaches (leveraging market research, implementing data-driven campaigns, improving customer journey).
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and product management teams to provide market insights, influence product roadmaps, and ensure product offerings align with market demands (identifying emerging customer needs, feedback on product features, participating in product planning).
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and develop accurate revenue forecasting models (implementing dashboards, analyzing sales data, providing actionable insights).
  • Drive thought leadership and enhance company visibility in the semiconductor industry (representing at events, conferences, with analysts; presenting, publishing articles, building relationships).
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and data-driven sales culture focused on exceeding customer expectations (implementing sales training programs, promoting continuous improvement, aligning team with company values).

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on IP licensing and SoC solutions; consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets and building high-performing sales organizations at a senior leadership level.
  • Strong preference for experience in both large, established semiconductor companies and high-growth, venture-backed companies; demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies (direct sales, channel partnerships, strategic alliances, IP licensing models) and expanding into new markets.
  • Deep and current understanding of the semiconductor IP and chiplet landscape, SoC design and manufacturing processes, and key market trends (advanced nodes, chiplets, heterogeneous integration, competitive dynamics).
  • Proven experience building, scaling, and managing global sales, business development, and marketing teams, with a track record of attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; ability to influence and engage effectively with C-level executives, customers, partners, and industry analysts.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly technical, and dynamic environment; strong technical aptitude to understand and articulate complex technology solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; Masters or other advanced degree strongly preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package (base salary, equity participation) commensurate with experience.
