Chief People Organization Summer Analyst Program - 2027

About the Program

The Chief People Organization (CPO) Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week summer internship designed to introduce students to Bank of America’s organization that serves as a strategic partner to every business across the enterprise. The program provides hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to leaders while building foundational skills for a career in Human Resources or related fields.

Summer Analysts are aligned to one CPO team and participate in structured training, project-based work, mentorship, networking, and professional development sessions throughout the program.

Responsibilities

• Support initiatives that advance Bank of America’s workplace culture
• Contribute to HR operations, business advisory work, and special projects
• Assist with measurement of performance, analysis, and reporting
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
• Support programs that communicate the company’s brand and value
• Prepare and support internal communications and presentations

A typical week includes supporting project work, attending team and stakeholder meetings, preparing analysis or presentations, and participating in training sessions, networking events, mentorship meetings, speaker series, and community service opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor’s direct to Master’s degree from an accredited institution
• Penultimate year of school (graduation dates: November 2027 – August 2028)
• Master’s candidates should not have more than 0 years of experience
• Preferred majors: Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial or Organizational Psychology, Industrial and Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Communications, Economics, International Studies, Political Science, Public Policy, or related fields
• 3.2 minimum GPA preferred
• Bank of America is unable to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship now, or in the future, for this specific role
