Chief of Staff, GTM
About the company
Marketing teams spend $1.5 trillion a year on various channels and programs, yet most capital allocation decisions are guided by gut feel, broken attribution, and backward-looking metrics. Paramark helps them optimize spend across all channels and programs. There are proven scientific ways to do this, but they are poorly understood and practiced by only a tiny fraction of teams. Companies waste millions on campaigns that don’t work while failing to invest in critical long-term initiatives simply because they’re harder to measure. Most are sorely lacking in both measurement and experimentation capability. We’re fixing this by creating a system of action that teams use to understand, forecast the impact of their investments, and experiment with new ideas.
The opportunity is huge: 100k+ mid-market businesses worldwide, spending $1.5T on marketing annually, with a large chunk of that going to waste. Our target customer spends between $10M and $100M on Marketing annually. We founded the company in 2023 and have strong traction. Our customers include both consumer and business brands like Square, Chime, Ramp, Rippling, Speak, Toast, Cursor, and many more.
We work 3-5 days a week from our office in San Francisco. We believe the best results come from in-person collaboration but also want to strike the right balance and give everyone the flexibility they need to enjoy life outside of the office. We’ve raised $8M from Greylock and several CXO-level advisors and angels from companies like Open AI, Dropbox, Salesforce, Asana, and P&G.
About the team
The Paramark team is currently ~16 members across Engineering (Product Engineering, Data Science, and Solutions Engineering), Go-to-Market (Marketing and Sales), and Growth Advisory (Product + Customer). You would be part of the GTM team that owns new customer acquisition.
About the role
Paramark is hiring a Chief of Staff, GTM to work with the CEO across sales, marketing, and partnerships—moving fluidly between strategy and execution, often in the same day. One week you might be tightening a six-figure sales proposal; the next, coordinating an event, running an outbound experiment, or building a joint pipeline plan with a partner. You'll sit at the center of Paramark's GTM engine, working alongside the CEO, our GTM Engineer, and external agencies. The mandate is simple: make the company's sales and marketing machine run faster and better than the CEO could alone.
This role is a GTM apprenticeship at a fast-growing, founder-led company—you'll see every deal, every campaign, and every partnership decision up close, with real ownership over outcomes. It's the best possible seat for someone who wants to run GTM or start a company themselves.
Responsibilities
- Marketing: Work with the CEO, GTM Engineer, and agencies to manage marketing activities end-to-end—ads, content, events, podcasts, etc. Keep the marketing calendar and agency workstreams on track. Turn raw material (two podcasts, customer results, founder POVs) into programs that generate pipeline.
- Sales: Partner with the CEO on sales proposals for enterprise deals—research, structure, narrative, and polish. Build and improve sales assets: decks, one-pagers, case studies, ROI narratives, objection handling. Refine outbound motions: targeting, sequencing, messaging, and iteration based on what converts. Partner with the CEO on high-stakes prospect and customer conversations.
- Partnerships: Manage joint sales and marketing motions with partners—co-marketing, referral flows, shared pipeline reviews.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of how the Paramark platform works.
- Strong foundational understanding of data-driven decision-making. Measuring what truly matters is half the battle; knowing what matters is critical.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and analytical skills to query data from data warehouses (familiarity with Python and data visualization platforms is a plus).
- Familiarity with statistical modeling, marketing mix models, or causal inference methods is a strong plus (you won’t need to build models, but you’ll need to know how they work to sell and market them).
- Calm, confident communication and precise project management and cross-functional leadership skills to influence and persuade.
- Analytics, consulting, banking, or former-founder experience is a plus, but not required if you possess these skills.
Pay
Base Salary ranges by level:
- L2: $125k–$145k
- L3: $140k–$180k
Offers also include an equity package (range available upon request).
Benefits
- Simple time-off policy: all federal holidays plus 4 weeks of PTO per year (health comes first, and everyone needs time to recharge).
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance provided with 100% of employee premiums / 50% of family premiums covered.
- Relocation support up to $20k.
- Pre-tax commute & parking benefits.
We prioritize sustainable work-life balance: reasonable working hours (out of the office before 6), flexibility to take breaks when needed, and a culture guided by our Purpose, Mission, and Values.
