Chief of Staff, Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Chief of Staff, Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will partner closely with engineering leadership to turn strategy into execution and keep priorities, decisions, and communications aligned across the organization. You will help shape the operating cadence for the engineering team, support planning and prioritization, and ensure that key initiatives move forward with clarity and accountability. The position also serves as a cross-functional connector, working with product, marketing, and other stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and support informed executive decision-making. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering leadership, translating strategies into execution plans Manage engineering leadership's operating cadence with effective meeting structures Represent engineering priorities to ensure alignment with product and marketing teams Create executive communications and prepare materials for reviews and updates Assist in sensitive organizational discussions related to planning and prioritization Foster collaboration across teams to drive alignment without direct authority Oversee planning and execution of complex engineering programs and initiatives Qualifications 7+ years in program/project management and executive support roles Experience in a Chief of Staff or engineering leadership role is a plus Strong executive presence and credibility with stakeholders Data-driven decision-making abilities with reporting skills Proven track record of driving accountability and collaboration across teams Strong communication skills for executive updates and reporting Familiarity with metrics related to software delivery and engineering best practices Benefits Hybrid work model Opportunity to influence strategic decisions Exposure to executive operations and leadership Access to cutting-edge AI tools for automation and reporting Engagement with cross-functional teams and high-level stakeholders Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
